Project: Fukushima Daiichi Book Design
Designed and produced a conceptual book examining the Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, using print as a medium to explore the growth of radiation and its cause-and-effect impact. The book was physically printed to highlight the interplay of typography, layout, and texture in conveying meaning.
Deliverables
Print Production: Printed and assembled the book to showcase technical skills in layout, formatting, and production.
Typography Exploration: Developed type treatments and hierarchy that mirrored radiation’s spread and intensity.
Visual Narrative: Translated abstract ideas of cause and effect into a cohesive system of imagery, grids, and negative space.
